The Technology & Maintenance Council announced five recipients of the Silver Spark Plug Award for career achievement at this week’s spring meeting in Tampa, Fla.
Lee Long, director of maintenance for South Carolina-based less-than-truckload carrier Southeastern Freight Lines, received the recognition as a fleet member. Long is being installed as TMC’s new chairman.
TMC also awarded Silver Spark Plugs to Gregory Shipman, Vertical Alliance Group; James LeClaire, Horton; and Norman Ball and Douglas Jones, both with Michelin North America.
