Cadec Global, a provider of fleet management solutions, announced a new partnership with Digital Fuel Solutions, provider of a Web-based management tool designed to optimize the entire fuel delivery process at every level of operations.

Cadec says that through its partnership with DFS, PowerVue customers in the fuel industry now can benefit from the DFS System and its real-time delivery of critical information, giving drivers data about fuel delivery assignments, terminal and source information and last-minute delivery changes. In addition, drivers can communicate to the back office updates such as manifest numbers, exact gallons loaded, stick readings at the stations, time-stamped loading and dropping information.

Cadec says all of the pickup-and-delivery workflow is accessible on its PowerVue in-cab computer while also providing a single platform and user experience for compliance, safety and driver performance. The supply chain data is communicated in real time to the back office so fleet managers can have precise information about pickup-and-delivery times, fuel delivered and inventory levels for tanks at stations, and can expedite their billing to clients as information is entered in real time from the field as work is completed.

“Cadec is committed to the helping fleets deliver and act on real-time driver and vehicle data to improve safety, increase operational efficiencies, reduce unnecessary costs and improve customer service,” says Jon Bernstein, chief executive officer of Cadec. “This partnership with DFS will allow us to further expand into the petroleum industry and deliver real-time fuel pickup-and-delivery data while providing an intuitive driver experience.”

“We are excited about this partnership with Cadec, as they have proven themselves as leaders and innovators in fleet management solutions,” says John McMahon, DFS president. “Our customers who use our application for managing every aspect of fuel delivery can now have this data delivered in real time to the driver through Cadec’s popular PowerVue software solution. This partnership is a true win for fleets looking to improve efficiency in every step of their fuel delivery process.”
