Indiana congressman visits Bendix plant

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems hosted U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-Ind., at its Huntington, Ind., production facility on July 22. Stutzman toured the state-of-the-art facility, met with its leaders to discuss issues affecting the commercial vehicle industry, and learned about key parts of the Huntington operation, including the growth of its remanufacturing efforts. The visit was part of the company’s ongoing efforts to educate lawmakers on the impact its operations have on the commercial vehicle industry and the communities where they are located.

“Bendix has been a positive force in Huntington for more than three decades, and I was pleased to see during my visit that the company remains as committed as ever to growing and strengthening its business and presence in the community,” Stutzman said. “Huntington’s employees and facilities are a great example of Indiana’s talent, innovation, and cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities.”
