Motion Computing, a global provider of mobile technology, announced it has expanded its In-Vehicle Computing Solution for North America. The expansion includes new preferred installers in Canada, positive crash test results for its equipment, a 3 year standard limited warranty and additional customized mounting kits.

D&R and Range Mobility are the newest preferred installers in Canada. The companies guarantee full-time, skilled employees will perform installations in a timely manner using high quality equipment, the company says.

Motion said the In-Vehicle Solution has passed comprehensive crash and vibration testing that met or exceeded multiple industry standards, such as the US heavy duty vehicle SAE J1455 standard and several other international standards. The tests were carried out at state-of-the-art vehicle and occupant safety testing facilities used by the automobile industry.

Vehicle docks and mounting kits now have a 3-year standard limited warranty. In addition, new customized dash mount kits are now available to support popular public safety and utility vehicles such as Chevy Tahoe, Ford F150, F250 and Dodge Charger, it announced.

Motion says its In-Vehicle Computing Solution includes a range of docks, mounts, integrated features and computing accessories designed to work with Motion Tablet PCs.
