CEVA ground announces pay 10% bump for owner-ops

CEVA Ground announced it is increasing rates for its owner-operator drivers in the U.S.

The announcement, it says, was done as part of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.

Owner-operators for the company will now get $1 a mile for solo drivers and $1.05 a mile for teams — a roughly 10 percent increase, CEVA says.

There are also incentives for safety and performance available, as well discounts for fuel purchases, tires and mechanical services.
