Roadnet Technologies, the Omnitracs company specializing in transportation logistics software, announced Roadnet Transportation Suite version 3.6.8, the latest release of its on-premise vehicle routing, scheduling, tracking, mobile workforce and fleet management software.
The company says its fourth update this year of its widely-used software was created to deliver greater consistency in the user experience, and delivers planning, mobile application, dispatching, routing, and other general enhancements for improved efficiency and ease of use.

The latest version of Roadnet Transportation Suite includes the following enhancements:
- MobileCast mobile application enhancements for Android and iOS allows drivers to access an overview of the planned route on a map, view the map anytime throughout the route, and more.
- MobileView allows for role-based views for different employee types and offers exception enhancements, map updates and historical route information to better enable role-specific productivity.
- Scheduler comes with an out-of-the-box configurable scheduling interface, which easily plugs into, and integrates into, customer websites. With this new capability, enabling delivery self-scheduling by customer service representatives, salespeople, and customers becomes even faster and easier.
- Info Center’s Live Stop Locator has been updated to include both planned and projected arrive and departure information, eliminating the need to use multiple tools to track delivery progress.
