Next month, a panel of representatives from top equipment and technology manufacturers will discuss those advancements, other potential looming revolutionary trucking technology and what it means for carriers and the industry as a whole at the annual Commercial Vehicle Outlook seminar.
CV-Outlook will be held at the Dallas Convention Center Aug. 26-27, and the theme of this year’s event is Trucking’s Future Now, and all sessions and speakers will center on offering a look at what the trucking industry will look like in the years to come.

Panelists include Derek Rotz, the chief engineer of Freightliner’s SuperTruck project; Bill Kahn, principal engineer for Peterbilt Motors; and Josh Switkes, CEO of Peloton Technology. The panel will be moderated by Paul Menig, CEO of Tech-I-M.
The conference will also feature speeches and panel discussions on changing infrastructure, freight patterns and the driver and technician labor market.
