Transport Pro, Parade integrate systems to automate load matching

Transport Pro Exchange screenshotTransport Pro, a Web-based transportation management system for trucking and third-party logistics companies, has a new partnership with Parade, a freight brokerage technology provider.

The partnership combines Parade’s AI-powered carrier management system with Transport Pro as a digital carrier sourcing platform to give brokers access to automation technology at an affordable price point, the companies say.

According to the announcement, freight brokers using the Transport Pro system have thousands of data points around capacity availability streaming into their email inbox each day. They also have a vast amount of underutilized historical data that includes locations and carrier interactions.

Unable to make sense of it all, carrier reps often turn to load boards and use gut instincts to source carriers.

Parade’s capacity technology integrates key information from the carrier emails, locations, historical load bookings and carrier interactions to give visibility into what freight carriers need and when. The Transport Pro carrier sourcing platform matches the capacity to available freight and sends an automatic email to the qualified in-network carriers.

Besides saving time, the automation helps brokers remain competitive in the marketplace, the companies say.

“Brokers are competing with large tech companies pushing digital freight brokerage, and the only way to stay in the game is to invest in technology,” says Kenneth Kloeppel, chief executive of Transport Pro. “When you look at the new technology being provided by Parade and Transport Pro, a brokerage can become a powerful service provider to its customers and partner carriers.”
