Ryder System, Inc. is making its RyderGyde app available to its more than 36,000 commercial rental customers, allowing users to do everything from compare real-time fuel rates to schedule shop service from a smartphone or tablet.
Rental customers can use the free mobile app to quickly rent a commercial truck from Ryder Rental locations across the U.S. or contact Ryder Roadside Assistance for help on the road.
Ryder’s President of Fleet Management Solutions Dennis Cooke says RyderGyde users can also view Ryder contracted fuel rates and rates of other fueling stations and log their fuel receipts using image reading technology within the app to enter and store the information. The RyderGyde fuel receipt capture feature mitigates challenges around fuel tax reporting.
The RyderGyde app is available on iOS and Android devices, and can be downloaded on the App Store and Google Play.
