The American Transportation Research Institute is seeking truck driver feedback on preferences for how truck parking availability information is disseminated.

The data collection from truckers is part of ATRI’s 2019 top priority research topic to standardize truck parking information systems based on driver preferences. The group is looking for information on drivers’ preferred data formats and delivery mechanisms for truck parking information.

ATRI began surveying truckers at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, last month with more than 300 drivers completing surveys. The online survey launched today will give more drivers the chance to participate, ATRI says.

The survey can be completed online here through the end of May.
