Nominations are being sought for the year’s top owner-operator and top company driver, in contests produced by CCJ sister publications Overdrive and Truckers News, in which each winner will receive a $25,000 cash prize.

Fleets can nominate drivers at this link.

The winners in this year’s Driver of the Year Contest will be announced March 3, at the annual meeting of the Truckload Carriers Association in Kissimmee, Florida. In addition to the grand prize, two runners-up in each contest will receive $2,500 each.

The contests are sponsored by Love’s and Cummins. The Owner-Operator of the Year contest is produced by TCA and Overdrive. TCA and Truckers News produce the Company Driver of the Year contest.

The competition is intended to recognize drivers with strong safety records who’ve also improved the image of trucking and served their communities. The owner-operator award also recognizes business acumen.

Entries must be submitted by Nov. 15. Eligibility and other entry details can be found here.
