Freedom Air Filters’ prefilters for Peterbilt Model 579

Freedom Air Filters’ prefilters for Peterbilt’s Model 579 tractors are sold as a pair and designed to fit over the factory air intake grills to protect the engine and performance air filter without sacrificing airflow or horsepower.

The prefilters are constructed with a proprietary polyester mesh with uniform micron openings and treated with a hydrophobic water repellant process to keep out moisture and large particles of debris such as grain chaff, rubber, dirt and sand before reaching the air filter.
