AxleTech’s air disc brake pads are designed for added performance at higher axle ratings and more aggressive duty cycles seen in the on-highway, vocational, transit and coach markets. The pads are compatible with air disc brake models from Knorr-Bremse, Meritor, Bendix and Wabco. The company’s AT215 transit friction formula was developed and evaluated for a 28,800-pound axle rating and an 18.7-inch rolling radius, while its AT214 formula is engineered for longer service life in on-highway, coach and other heavy-duty applications.
