Modular lift kits improve ride & handling while making room to run more taller, aggressive tire/wheel combos on GM’s 2015 new midsize pickups
The latest pickups to roll out of GM are the all-new Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon and ICON Vehicle Dynamics has quickly got to work developing a full suspension system that delivers an entirely new level of performance to these trucks.
Through extensive suspension testing, ICON engineers have identified any limiting factors and weak points in the Colorado/Canyon and improved on them while increasing wheel travel and leveling the truck.
The result: A custom modular ICON suspension kit where these new pickups can be upgraded in stages to provide 1.75″-3″of lift with 25% more suspension travel for better ride/handling on-road or off, unloaded, loaded or towing.
These bolt-on suspension kits also provide the needed fender clearance to run larger, more aggressive tires/wheels for added ground clearance.
ICON’s Stage 1 kit includes height-adjustable Eibach coil-overs and ICON rear shocks fitted with FK Rod End bearings.
The Stage 2 kit takes the basic kit to the next level with ICON control arms, larger shocks, and additional technology to further increase the overall performance of the Colorado/Canyon suspension.
Stage 3 adds remote-reservoirs to the rear shocks, while ICON’s Stage 4 suspension kit includes remote-reservoir shocks for both front and rear.
