Fleetworthy's brand integration opens path for new service capabilities

Fleet management software provider Fleetworthy has completed the integration of its core brands and services: Fleetworthy, Drivewyze and Bestpass. This move unifies previously siloed data across the platforms, creating the foundation for the company to evolve its current service capabilities and introduce new insights to customers that weren’t possible before.

Safety and compliance, toll management (formerly Bestpass) and weigh station bypass (formerly Drivewyze) are now accessible through a single account, eliminating the need for customers to switch between portals or manage separate logins.

“Now that vehicles can be connected across tolling, bypass, safety and compliance, Fleetworthy can deliver more proactive insights, automated workflows and smarter recommendations informed by activity across enrolled services,” said Fleetworthy Chief Product Officer Shay Demmons. “The result is a simpler experience for both fleet managers and drivers with less duplicate work and faster access to critical information.”

This shift to connected and unified platforms is one players across the trucking technology industry are making, urged by the expanded use cases for AI, which requires centralized data.

Demmons said that’s why this integration was necessary for Fleetworthy. Its services are now available in a coordinated, AI-assisted experience.

Disconnected systems limit visibility and make automation and meaningful insight nearly impossible, he said, adding that fleet managers spend their time reconciling data and reacting to problems after they happen when tolling, safety, bypass and compliance run separately.

Demmons also noted an often-overlooked element: data quality.

“When systems are disconnected, every cross-system insight depends on approximate matching, trying to confirm whether a driver, vehicle or route is the same across platforms,” he said. “That introduces error into every downstream calculation. When the platform shares a common identity for vehicles, drivers and routes across services, the insights built on top are more accurate and trustworthy by default.”

Fleets need connected, real-time visibility to reduce admin burden, catch risks earlier and make faster decisions, he said.

Bringing Fleetworthy’s services together creates a complete picture of fleet activity and the foundation for more intelligent, predictive operations where technology surfaces issues earlier, automates repetitive work and improves decisions using a full operational view instead of siloed data, Demmons said.

Platform enhancements

With all of its services now connected, new capabilities added to the platform will seamlessly integrate into the experience, creating a more accessible and efficient daily workflow for fleet operations teams.

One of those new innovations is Centralized Vehicle Management (CVM), which gives fleets a centralized way to manage all vehicles across Fleetworthy safety and compliance, toll management and weigh station bypass. Customers can add a vehicle once, automatically enrolling it in every applicable Fleetworthy service.

Built-in exact match vehicle mapping surfaces and consolidates duplicate records across products, creating a verified single source of information for every asset in the fleet. Customers can view toll transponder assignments, manage bypass and safety enrollment status, and update Fleetworthy-managed compliance fields from one place, reducing administrative work and improving visibility across the fleet.

Fleetworthy has also rebranded its Drivewyze mobile app to FleetworthyGO, which has been updated with a modernized look, improved first-time setup process and simplified navigation for drivers.

In conjunction with the app rebrand, Drivewyze Free is becoming Fleetworthy Foundations, a no-cost service tier delivering in-cab safety alerts, and Drivewyze Safety+ is becoming Fleetworthy Safety+, offering premium alerts and additional capabilities.

Potential future offerings

Demmons said the clearest example of expanded capabilities and insights for customers that weren't previously possible because of the disconnected platforms is toll management.

By connecting GPS and route data from bypass and safety with tolling activity, Fleetworthy can flag unnecessary plate toll charges, improve toll predictions and recommend where transponder coverage is missing. Those data sets used to live in separate systems and couldn't work together, he said.

Another is dispute resolution, Demmons added.

“Fleets spend hours manually gathering evidence to challenge incorrect toll charges,” he said. “Connected GPS and route data can be cross-referenced against toll activity automatically, turning a multi-day task into a same-day one.”

Another example is the ability to identify the true cost of an asset. Demmons said most fleets know what an asset costs to lease, fuel and insure, but not what it costs to operate on the routes it runs.

“Combining tolling spend, bypass time, registration and permitting fees, and safety events against real route data gives fleets a per-asset and per-lane cost picture that wasn't possible before,” he said.

And, finally, there’s compliance. Demmons said connecting registration and compliance data to the broader fleet record surfaces issues before they become roadside violations or CSA exposure, creating a more complete operational view of the fleet and opening the door to far more predictive and operationally intelligent services over time.
