00:00 In this week’s CCJ Tech Shorts, we’ll take a look at Motive’s and Fleetworthy’s latest additions to their platforms and more.

00:19 Motive has rolled out a set of new workforce management tools to automate driver coaching, streamline training and track compliance documents.

The new AI-powered features, embedded directly into the Motive platform, include AI Coach, Integrated Training, Driver Qualification Status and AI Document Capture that aim to address the challenges of managing a disparate workforce.

AI Coach is an AI avatar that automatically delivers weekly AI-generated coaching videos to drivers, summarizing key events and providing actionable feedback on safety performance.

Integrated Training creates engaging training content directly in the Motive Dashboard, allows for shared multimedia training with workers through the Motive Driver App, assesses employee understanding with quizzes and tracks completion to identify gaps, and delivers onboarding, periodic training, and event-based training to workers.

Driver Qualification Status lets fleets instantly know which drivers are qualified to operate with live status updates for faster, more informed decisions and allows fleets to generate organized, exportable qualification reports for smoother DOT audits and regulatory checks. In addition, drivers and field teams can manage compliance documents directly from the Motive Driver App.

AI Document Capture automatically reads scanned licenses, extracting necessary data and automating reviews to eliminate errors and speed up compliance.

01:46 Fleetworthy has released 10 new SmartTiles in its cloud-based driver and asset compliance management platform, CPSuite.

SmartTiles are dynamic reporting features that enable fleets to view specific datasets and surface compliance insights. Customers can customize dashboards with the SmartTiles most relevant to their operations. The new SmartTiles offer fleets new insights into roadside inspections, providing views tailored to both drivers and assets.

These are the new driver-based SmartTiles, which provide detailed visibility into inspection outcomes tied to drivers:

• Roadside Inspection Compliance, which tracks overall compliance trends by driver.

• Roadside Inspection Type, which breaks down inspections by type (Level I, II, etc.)

• Recent Roadside Inspection, which shows the most recent inspection details by the driver.

• Roadside Inspection Status, which displays distribution of pass/fail outcomes.

• And Roadside Inspection Summary, which provides an aggregated view of driver inspections.

These are the new asset-based SmartTiles, which surface trends and results linked to vehicles and equipment:

• Roadside Inspection Compliance, which tracks compliance trends for vehicles and equipment.

• Roadside Inspection Type, which breaks down inspections by type for each asset.

• Recent Roadside Inspection, which details the most recent inspection per vehicle.

• Roadside Inspection Status, which highlights outcomes tied to assets.

• And Roadside Inspection Summary, which delivers an aggregated view of asset inspections.

03:13 Geotab has added a new platform to its marketplace. Voyomotive’s VOYOLink offers fleet managers a streamlined solution to connect Geotab-equipped vehicles to their preferred service providers in under three minutes. With access to over 36,000 locations across North America, including many specializing in heavy-duty maintenance, VOYOLink lets fleet operators leverage their existing provider relationships to reduce service-related expenses while improving vehicle uptime.

Once set up, VOYOLink connects fleet vehicles to selected service providers with a single click. Vehicles immediately begin securely transmitting real-time vehicle health alerts and maintenance notifications.

Alerts are delivered directly into the provider's shop management system, enabling faster evaluations, improved scheduling, and shorter repair cycles.

04:03 Fleet hiring and recruiting software provider Foley has launched an enhanced, fully connected version of its platform. Once a set of point solutions, the platform is now unified across hiring, screening, compliance, and safety with new capabilities.

Customers can expect faster hiring and onboarding. Smarter alerts and flexible filtering allow users to filter candidates and employees by compliance status, location, or role, and receive alerts for upcoming expirations or needed compliance actions. In addition, the reimagined platform now offers automated compliance tracking, allowing fleets to stay on top of background checks, drug tests, DOT physicals, and safety screenings, all in one place, as well as real-time risk insights.

Foley’s proprietary compliance score, paired with company and driver-level FMCSA data and peer benchmarking, delivers an all-in-one view of compliance risk. Instead of logging into multiple systems, carriers can access FMCSA data directly on the platform, presented in an easy-to-digest format that makes it simple to spot issues early and stay ahead of audits.

05:07 Carrier identity and compliance solutions provider Highway has expanded its certified partnership with transportation management system provider McLeod Software.

This brings Highway’s Trusted Freight Exchange, or TFX, into McLeod PowerBroker, providing verified carriers and vetted brokers with a seamless and trusted ecosystem inside the McLeod TMS.

TFX is built with Highway’s Identity Engine at the core and is powered by Triumph’s market rating, intelligence, payment, and credit capabilities. It delivers dual-sided verification with identity solutions, broker vetting powered by Triumph, and real-time fraud alerts to ensure every transaction is safe and legitimate. It also delivers zero-touch posting, unposting and negotiations, allowing for scaled operator output and efficiency.
