TMW Systems announced an integration with Navistar’s OnCommand Connection for its TMT fleet maintenance software earlier this week at ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting in Atlanta.

According to TMW’s Scott Vanselous, the new integration allows fleets to place parts orders within the TMT system, which are then routed through OnCommand Connection to the International dealer channel where they are fulfilled. TMW says each order is routed by location, and in cases when parts are not available at the closest dealer facility, the remaining part information is sent to another dealer for fulfillment.

Vanselous says this partnership will offer major advantages for fleets from an efficiency and pricing standpoint.

Regarding the latter, he says fleets using the TMT system will receive volume pricing discounts from Navistar for orders placed using the integration.

Vanselous also says the partnership addresses a key fleet desire for information standardization. “Fleets and OEMs are collaborating a lot more together and they want data to move seamlessly,” he says.
