Michelin’s X Multi Energy D Pre-Mold retread for regional and emerging super-regional applications is SmartWay-verified and designed for added fuel efficiency and scrub resistance in regional applications. Suited for 4×2 applications, the retread features a dual-layer energy compound; the top layer is designed to provide added removal mileage, while the bottom layer is engineered to allow the tread to run cooler to minimize internal casing temperatures, helping to facilitate low rolling resistance and extended casing life. The retread also features the company’s proprietary Matrix Siping for added traction and even wear.
