Sioux recently hosted its first completely international distributor sales and service school. Sioux hosted distributors from throughout the world, including Indonesia, China, Guatemala, Malaysia, El Salvador and Mexico. The purpose of the training was to educate Sioux distributors on Sioux products, industrial applications, selling strategies and service.

Sioux distributors attended training for four days in which they learned about Sioux’s history and various product lines, viewed product demonstrations and covered troubleshooting and product maintenance. While in Beresford, S.D., distributors also were able to get a taste of true American spirit by wrapping up their training by attending Beresford’s Homecoming Parade.

Sioux, which currently sells products to about 70 countries worldwide and received President Obama’s “E” Award in 2009 for exporting excellence, designs and manufactures application-specific steam cleaners, pressure washers, steam generators, special-purpose water heaters and related custom equipment. The company specializes in engineering and fabricating industrial equipment for demanding applications worldwide.
