HDX Services, a subsidiary of Datalliance, announced that Tectran has subscribed to the HDX SiMAN Extranet Service. HDX SiMAN is designed to offer heavy-duty distributor users a menu from a single sign-on process to access multiple manufacturer sites, which helps users access the information they need and answer their questions easily and efficiently. HDX Services says HDX SiMAN also offers better security of account information by managing and communicating personnel changes such as new hires, transfers and terminations directly to suppliers.

“Tectran continues to emphasize technology solutions to our valued customers, providing ways for them to communicate better with us and with their customers,” says Bruce McKie, president of Tectran. “We have been offering incentives to participate in EDI and VMI, and customers who have taken advantage of these programs have enjoyed excellent results. Now our catalogs, technical bulletins, brochures and several new tools that we plan to bring on stream will be much easier to access through HDX SiMAN.”

“Tectran has always supported the HDX community and as a result has seen many benefits in terms of productivity, office efficiencies and even higher market share,” says Edward Kuo, HDX executive director.” We are excited to have them join the HDX SiMAN solution as we continue to grow the number of manufacturers involved.”
