U.S. Bank, a provider of universal fleet fueling and maintenance cards and owner of the Voyager merchant processing network, announced that it is expanding its Channel Partner Program with the addition of Northern California-based Nella Oil Co. Nella now issues a co-branded Flyers Fleet Card to its customers across northern California, Nevada and beyond.
“As one of the West Coast’s most reliable, respected and customer service-oriented fuel suppliers, Flyers is an ideal addition to our growing channel partner family,” says Jeff Rankin, senior sales and marketing officer, U.S. Bank Corporate Payment Systems. “We look forward to helping them take their product and service offering to the next level.”
Users of the Flyers Fleet Card now have access to more than 150 Flyers retail and cardlock locations in addition to more than 230,000 fuel and maintenance locations on the nationwide Voyager network, including retailers such as BP, Chevron, Texaco, Circle K, Citgo, ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Shell, Valero and hundreds more.
“This is a great opportunity to add another valuable fleet solution to our product line,” says David Jackson, director of commercial fueling at Nella. “The wide reach of the Voyager Network will be critical for us as we expand our business beyond California and Nevada.”
Nella is currently the largest member of the Commercial Fueling Network, with about 95 CFN locations in California that until recently operated as Olympian Oil and another 55 CFN locations in Nevada that had operated as Western Energetix. Both the Olympian and Western Energetix brands have been replaced with the Nella Oil’s proprietary brand name, Flyers.
“We don’t plan to replace CFN, but joining the Voyager Network allows us to serve customers we haven’t been able to accommodate in the past,” Jackson says, “With the Flyers Fleet Card joining our family of successful fleet fueling solutions, we can really offer a product that delivers both service and near universal acceptance.”
