Aim NationaLease announced the purchase of Schmidt NationaLease (Schmidt Rental & Lease) in Perrysburg (Toledo), Ohio. Aim says the acquisition, terms of which were not announced, adds another facility to its expanding number of branch locations while increasing the number of its Ohio facilities to nine. In addition to existing customers, the purchase includes nearly 100 lease and rental vehicles.
Through this purchase, Aim says it now will have a significant presence serving the Northwest Ohio and Southern Michigan markets with its full line of products. Additionally, this new location complements existing Aim facilities in the region (Detroit; Elkhart, Ind.; Columbus; Napoleon, Ohio; and Cleveland) with maintenance assistance capabilities.
The new Aim branch is located at 5745 Angola Road, Toledo, Ohio, which is north of Interstate 80 and east of I-475/23 on Angola Road. The facility will offer full-service leasing, maintenance, integrated logistics and commercial vehicle rentals to existing Schmidt and new Aim customers. There will be an onsite service manager, lease sales representative and a staff of diesel mechanics.

Aim NationaLease and Aim Integrated Logistics combined have nearly 8,000 vehicles operating out of nearly 100 separate operations while employing about 1,000 people.
