Teletrac, headquartered in Garden Grove, Calif., was named the best Enterprise Product of the Year, Software at the 2013 Best in Biz Awards. The award was given to Teletrac for its Fleet Director software platform, which specializes in fleet management and GPS tracking data. The platform is used by approximately 20,000 fleets of all sizes to track more than 200,000 vehicles in 87 countries.
The Bist in Biz Awards is an independent business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts.
“This year’s Best in Biz Awards nominees offer services and products that reflect the most current trends in technology, from cloud computing through mobile devices to network connectivity,” said Samara Lynn, lead analyst of networking and business at PC Magazine. “Truly, all of the nominees and winners represent the ongoing innovation and trends in technology that we who cover the space see on a daily basis.”
The third annual Best in Biz Awards program, focusing on companies based or operating in North America, had the highest number of awards submissions to date. More than 500 entries were received this year, from a wide array of public and private companies of all sizes and from a variety of industries and geographic regions in the U.S. and Canada. Teletrac joins past Best in Biz winners such as Eloqua and Citrix in the enterprise product of the year category.
Winners of Best in Biz Awards 2013 were determined by an independent panel of 51 judges from news, business and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets and analyst firms.
