Skf Kit

SKF now provides a complete line of differential, transfer case and transmission kits for automotive, light-duty and commercial vehicle applications. Providing extensive coverage for the most popular applications, each kit contains all of the components needed for a complete system rebuild, including bearings, seals and gaskets.

The new line of SKF differential, transfer case and transmission kits include more than 200 part numbers. The products in each SKF kit are shrinkwrapped to white boards designed to resist rust, increase component service life and reduce occurrences of missing components. Additionally, a new part number system helps make ordering and stocking easier – the prefix “SDK” refers to SKF differential kits, the prefix “STCK” refers to SKF transfer case kits, and the prefix “STK” refers to SKF transmission kits.

Standard SKF differential kits contain all the components needed for a complete repair, including pinion bearings, differential bearings, pinion seal, pinion nut, crush sleeve, gear making compound and brush and thread locker and silicone sealant. Master differential kits include all the components of the standard kit, along with pinion shims, pinion adjusting shims, differential shims and ring gear bolts.

Designed to help maintenance personnel save time during the installation process, SKF transmission kits contain all the components needed for a complete rebuild, including ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, needle bearings, tapered roller bearings, seals, O-rings, gaskets, snap rings, bushings, clutch nuts and fork pads.

SKF transfer case kits also contain all the components needed for a rebuild, including input and output shaft bearings and seals, shift shaft bearings and seals, oil pump seals, O-rings, gaskets, washers and fork pads.
