Motorola announces TC55 touch computer

Motorola Solutions announced the TC55 touch computer designed for field service, merchandising, and direct store delivery (DSD) markets. The handheld device capitalizes on the latest appeal of consumer-grade devices while also offering integrated, enterprise-class data capture capabilities and a design that can withstand the wear and tear of industrial environments, the company says.

The TC55 device features:

• High-performance data capture features that include bar code scanning, signature capture, documents, photos and videos.
• IP67 sealing and the longest battery life in its class.
• A speakerphone that is four times louder than traditional smartphones and offers dual microphones with noise-cancelling technology that delivers clarity at both ends of a call.
