Kenworth adds Meritor Permalube RPL Series Drivelines

Kenworth has added Meritor Permalube RPL Series Drivelines as an option on selected new Kenworth Class 8 on-highway trucks.

Meritor’s Permalube RPL drivelines feature permanent lubrication to help reduce operating and maintenance costs, and they offer high torque capacities.

Nylon thrust washers eliminate metal contact points to prevent wear. Triple-lip seals on U-joints help keep contaminants out. Advanced sealing features include an E-coated, protective steel guard that holds the slip seal securely and guards against contaminants and debris.

In addition, the Permalube RPL Series Drivelines are backed by a 5-year, 500,000-mile warranty for linehaul applications, according to Meritor.
