Crimestopper Handles Rear View Cameras With New Kits
A rear-view camera system on pickups increases jobsite safety, reduces risk of doing damage to bumpers and tailgates, and helps speed up trailer hook-ups.
The SecurView tailagte handle cameras from Crimestopper use an insert-style, 160-degree wide view, flush-mount camera made specifically for pickups.
The SV-6820, for example, is mounted by drilling a hole for the camera to fit into the tailgates handle’s faceplate.
Once the hole is drilled, the camera is secured in place leaving the clean appearance of a custom lip-mount camera. A hole saw bit comes with the kits to make installation easy.
The wiring is hidden behind the tailgate handle and has a 6′ harness for easy connections.
SecurView cameras don’t come with a monitor, but they do work with any monitor or GPS that has an RCA connector for video or camera input.
