Hellwig now manufactures three leaf spring kits for Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups.Hellwig has added three helper spring kits to their suspension line for new Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups.
All three kits fit two and four-wheel drive versions of both mid-size trucks. The U-bolt can be adjusted to change the rate of the helper spring, allowing the user to match it to their specific load or to level the vehicle.
Keeping a truck level while towing or hauling improves handling and braking, reduces wear on the suspension, and enhances appearance.
Part numbers 553 and 1252 have been added to the EZ Helper Spring line, and rate up to 500 pounds and 1,000 pounds respectively. Part number 1530 has joined the LP-15 heavy duty helper line and is rated up to 1,500 pounds.
The springs are powder coated and made from heat treated, 5160 spring steel at Hellwig’s factory in Visalia, Ca.
