Ryder System announced the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art service facility and used commercial vehicle sales center at 5865 Fulton Industrial Blvd in Atlanta. The 24,000-square-foot service facility is providing maintenance to a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles, including light-duty and heavy-duty straight trucks, tractors and trailers from Ryder’s existing contractual and rental customers in the area.
Located on 18 acres on Fulton Industrial Boulevard, with easy on and off access from main thoroughfares such as Interstates 20 and 285, the facility will feature six-and-a-half service bays, a three-lane fuel island, a fully automated truck wash bay and the capability to support U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 2010 engines with maintenance and diesel exhaust fluid. The facility will provide maintenance to Ryder’s lease, rental and contract maintenance customers and will provide commercial truck rental services.
Adjacent to the new service shop, Ryder also has opened a new used vehicle sales center where customers will be able to select from an inventory of more than 250 commercial trucks and vehicles for purchase. This 2,100-square-foot sales center replaces Ryder’s retail location on Moreland Avenue.
