Dan Murray to keynote Pegasus user conference

Dan Murray, vice president of research for the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI), will be the keynote speaker at the Pegasus TransTech User Conference in Clearwater, Fla. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Murray oversees research initiatives for the ATRI, the not-for-profit research arm of the American Trucking Associations.

Pegasus TransTech provides remote scanning, document management, and workflow systems for the commercial transportation industry.

As vice president of research for the ATRI, Murray is responsible for conducting objective research, analysis, and evaluation on a range of freight transportation issues relating to freight economics, safety, technology, and security. He has served as project manager on transportation research sponsored by multiple local, state, and federal agencies.

“We’re proud to host informative keynote speakers for our user conferences, including experts on economics, technology, and regulation. Last year we heard from ATA president and CEO Bill Graves,” said Bob Helms, chairman and CEO of Pegasus TransTech. “The tradition will continue this year when we will host Dan Murray. We’re very pleased that Dan will be joining us.”

The Pegasus TransTech User Conference will take place on April 17th and 18th at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa on Tampa Bay in Safety Harbor, Fla.
