Hendrickson debuts new air disc brake wear indicator

Hendrickson Trailer Commercial Vehicle Systems debuts its new air disc brake (ADB) wear indicator tool at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Las Vegas Wednesday, allowing maintenance personnel to check brake pad and rotor thickness without removing the wheel or brake pads from the caliper.

Greg Dvorchak, applications engineer for Hendrickson’s wheel-end and braking systems business unit, says regularly inspecting the thickness of brake pads and rotors maximizes the performance of the air disc brake system, adding the new tool makes this practice “convenient, easy and quick.”
