Vanair debuts new, lighter hydraulically driven air compressor

Vanair, at the Work Truck Show in Indianapolis on Wednesday, introduced its new Reliant RS45 hydraulically-driven, air compressor, which the company calls “the most powerful, lightweight system in its class.”

The new model weighs in 55 percent lighter than its predecessor model and the RS45’s rust-proof aluminum canopy reduces truck weight and fuel consumption. Providing 45 CFM and 150 PSI of on-demand air power at 100 percent duty cycle, the RS45 has the highest cfm rating in its class and offers quiet operation.
