New high-scrub regional tire from Continental

Continental is expanding its commercial light truck tire portfolio with a new 16-inch all-position tire.

The company says its Conti LAR 3 performs well in high-scrub conditions found in the regional delivery segment with excellent miles to removal –  up to 32 percent mileage improvement over competing products.

The 10-ply radial Conti LAR 3 is designed to withstand speeds of more than 90 mph under max load and its all-steel radial casing is optimized for retreadability.

Other features of the Conti LAR 3 include cut-and-chip resistant tread compounds, optimal handling with a pattern engineered to minimize stone retention and maximize wet traction and fuel efficiency.

The Conti LAR 3 is available in three sizes: LT225/75R16, LT235/85R16, and LT245/75R16.
