Federal court rules sleeper berth time beyond 8 hours must be paid
The First Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed a previous ruling that, under the Fair Labor Standards Act, team drivers should be paid for time spent in the sleeper berth beyond 8 hours because time spent there is to the benefit of the employer.

Cummins to pay $1.675B penalty for alleged Clean Air Act violations
DOJ said Cummins allegedly installed defeat devices on 630,000 model year 2013 to 2019 RAM 2500 and 3500 pickup truck engines, as well as undisclosed auxiliary emission control devices on 330,000 model year 2019 to 2023 RAM 2500 and 3500 engines.
