Daimler unveils Assurance active safety system for commerical trucks
Assurance’s radar system scans the highway in front of the tractor, picking up and tracking any vehicles within a 600 foot range. In adaptive cruise mode, the system automatically adjusts speed to match traffic in front of the truck. It can also initiate autonomous braking.

EPA certifies VIA Motors extended range electric van
VIA Motors has received official certification from the Environmental Protection Agency for its eREV Van, or Extended Range Electric Vehicle.
