Imports drive Tacoma port container volume gains in June
Container volumes through the Port of Tacoma improved 1.3 percent year to date in June, driven largely by rising import volumes, the port said. Import container traffic increased 13.4 percent year to date, with exports improving 2 percent. Overall, 87,610 full international 20-foot equivalent units (TEUs) moved through Tacoma last month.
