The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration published a Final Rule on the Federal Register Tuesday that will require all trucks made Aug. 1, 2017, and after be equipped will electronic stability control systems to prevent vehicle rollovers.

Safety Fitness Determination rule, at long last, finalized and sent to White House for approval
A Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rule that would allow FMCSA to assign absolute safety scores to carriers has been sent from the DOT’s trucking regulatory agency to the White House’s Office of Management and Budget for approval. The rule has been in the works since 2007.
